My second tribute to Firefly. The subject this time is the mysterious and ever so deadly - River Tam. Apart from being the mysterious teen she is , she is also notorious for her ability to kill people with her brain ! How cool is that !
This was a personal record for me - 4 hours . I was also smart with the layers this time , and they've been kept to the minimum. I've done slight post processing , the usual stuff.

Below is the progression of the vector , that I usually follow in all my drawings.
Start with the eyes.
Add the lips.
Then comes the face.
The neck comes next.
Complete the torso.
Finally , add the hairs (the fun part) and use effects like blur etc.
Don't be afraid to play around . Use glows , text to make it a proper tribute !
